Marathon & Virtual Marathon – F.A.Q

Marathon / Virtual Marathon – F.A.Q

Listed below are some of the frequently asked questions that our organization thought would help you get all the facts and necessary information for this upcoming Marathon. If you have any questions to which you can’t find below, please send us a message and we will be glad to answer any questions you may have.

Q: How does this Marathon / Virtual Marathon work?

A: The purpose of this Marathon is to raise funds for the less fortunate. If you would like to participate, you need to find someone who will sponsor and select how much they will donate for every kilometer(s) you will walk, run or bike.

Once you have a sponsor, they have to fill out the Marathon form and submit it. Once the form is submitted, it will automatically redirect them to a Secure Payment page where they can enter the donation amount and pay with either their Credit card.

Q: How long does the Marathon and or the Virtual Marathon last?

A: New Hope 4 Life organise 2 marathons/marathons virtuels par an. La première est pour la “Journée internationale de la jeunesse” qui est en août et la seconde est en octobre pour la “Journée des sans-abri de la parole”

The one in August if we do a regular marathon is on August 12, however if its a virtual marathon, then its for the whole month of August, this way people have the whole month to fulfill their set goals of kilometers they agreed to do.

Its the same thing for “World Homeless Day” which is held on October 10th or for the virtual marathon is for the whole month of October.

Q: Where does the funds from these marathons go? How will they be used?

A: The money that your sponsors send to New Hope 4 Life strictly goes to the cause. We hold these marathons to help raise money to help the less fortunate such as people that are homeless, runaway teens, youth, young adults, abuse victims, people that are bullied or have been in the past. Both in person and/or online (cyberspace) etc… Have a look at our Action plan for complete details.
